Yesterday  Official declared BPL T20 franchise Rajshahi name its Duronto Rajshahi.  And Most probably Dhaka team is called by Dhaka Gladiator. The official logo will published very soon.

Already Bangladesh Cricket Board and Game on Sports Management Company of India broadcast and choose Six franchise icon players. The players Name and carrier are showing bellow:

The BPL 2012 T20 Tournament franchises team auction completed.

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL 2012) auction for the six franchises has been completed with a total of $6.49 million spent. Not any of the teams fetching much more than their base price of $1 million. Only Chittagong was the most expensive franchise at $1.2 million and Barisal was the least at $1.01 million.

Announced The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2012

 Announced  The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2012

Dreams come true for the Bangladeshi cricketers and whole the people of country. Recently Bangladeshi Cricket Board have announced to the first version of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will acquire happening on the 9th February 2012, and the with the  tournament mega final penciled in for 29th February, 2012.

The team divides in six franchises in six division (Barisal, Chittagong, Dhaka, Khulna, Sylhet and Rajshahi).  The each team being allocated one of Bangladesh National Team player called as an “Icon Players”. The team have allowed to five foreign players in each match and will play each other twice in a round-robin format. After the round-robin league mach the 4 team will go to semi-final and two team played final match. The Matches will be played Bangladeshi most popular two stadiums name ate the Shere-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, with the rest at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

The tournament organize will  be by Game on Sports Management Company of India. Who contract the Bangladesh Cricket Board for the tournament for the next six years and budget $44m in earlier this month. Everyone  looking for the BPL tournament because for success of IPL. In  Game on Sports Management Company of India consultant one of the former Indian best player and running commentator Mr. Arun Lal. Mr. Lal believe that the number of foreign players are likely to involved with this tournament.

The franchise auction expected date 05^th January 2012 held in Dhaka and the player auction proximately for next week 14^th and 15^th January 201. The tournament winner will be invited to join the 2012 new edition Champion League T20.
