3rd day description : That's end for today. Ausi have survived 40 for no loss and the end of day total 13 overs. This day went down the expected route for most of it. We knew South Africa would set a hefty target, which they did. Amla and de Villiers missed doubles, but scored superb centuries. The Mitchells took all the wickets. Only the third time that all the wickets of a Test innings have fallen to the same first name. We knew Australia would get an hour or so to survive tonight, which they have done so far. A huge task left for Australia. How they will love it if Ponting's last Test innings doesn't start tomorrow, or at least doesn't finish tomorrow. South Africa huge favorites, though.
